Users must be licensed for LanSchool Classic to enjoy the following mobile benefits of the LanSchool Teacher App: Reduce Student Distractions Teachers can reduce digital distractions by hiding screens, limiting apps, and limiting browsing Web on student devices. This helps draw the students’ attention to the lesson. Monitor Students Ideal for monitoring student activity in a classroom setting, the Vignette feature allows the teacher to view all screens, including current applications or open websites. Assess student understanding Quickly survey students during a lecture using true / false or multiple-choice questions. Help students interact with students who are raising their hands digitally using the help request feature. Discover Student Computers The Teacher’s Assistant automatically detects student computers on the Teacher Console channel. Thumbnails The Teacher application displays resizable color thumbnails of student computer screens. Remote Control Control student computers from any iOS device. True / false, multiple choice, or verbal voting questions can be sent to students. Student results are tabulated and displayed in real time. Send a Message Interact with students using personalized messages sent to one, multiple, or all students.
