Microsoft Planner requires an eligible Office 365 work or school subscription. This app does not support Office 365 personal accounts (for example: name@outlook.com or name@hotmail.com). If you are unsure of your company’s subscription or which services you have access to, please contact your IT department. The Planner provides a simple and visual way to organize teamwork. The Planner makes it easy for your team to create new plans, organize and assign tasks, share files, discuss what you’re working on, and get progress updates. – Organize the work visually – Each plan has its own board, where you can organize the tasks in buckets. You can categorize tasks based on their status or who they are assigned to. To update status or change assignments, just drag and drop tasks between columns. – Visibility – The My Tasks view provides a complete list of all your tasks and their status in all your plans. When working together on a plan, team members always know who is working on what. – Collaborate – Designed for Office 365, Planner lets you work together on the same tasks, attach captured photos directly to them, and even have task-based conversations without switching between apps. If you choose to take a photo to attach to a planner task, the app will ask you for permission to access your Camera app.

If you are concerned about privacy, then Microsoft Planner is not the best option. Period. Microsoft Planner tracks you. With many open tabs, let’s say one or two dozen, Microsoft Planner interface will start breaking down and behaving inconsistently. At some point, the interface might stop responding entirely.

The Microsoft Planner so many annoyances, so little time. Slow, bulky, difficult to use/navigate, and works VERY poorly sometimes with my iPod and iPhone.

I don’t think  that Microsoft Planner usefull,  it’s time to move on to something easier also the Microsoft Planner need to fix some bugs.
