The Toyota app was developed to provide a convenient way to stay connected and informed about your vehicle. The Toyota app supports 2010 or newer Toyota vehicles and for Hawaii customers, 2018 or newer Toyota vehicles. • Owner’s Manual and Warranty Guides Access your owner’s manual and warranty guides at your fingertips. • Dealer Locator Log in to the app and search for the nearest Toyota dealership and register your preferred dealer for future reference. • Service Scheduling When it’s time to schedule your next service appointment, the app can help. • Roadside assistance If you need roadside assistance, log into the app for roadside assistance contact details. The Toyota app also supports Connected Services1 on select 2010 or newer models, for customers of Hawaii 2018 or newer vehicles. Register to activate or manage the connected services of your vehicles. • Start / stop your vehicle remotely2. This function allows you to start your vehicle remotely to heat or cool the passenger compartment according to the last air conditioning settings. • Lock / unlock your doors Not sure if you remember to lock your vehicle? You can now lock and unlock your doors remotely and receive a confirmation. • Find your parked vehicle Locating your parked vehicle just got easier. Vehicle Finder uses the map on your smartphone to guide you to the last known parking location of your vehicle. • Guest driver alerts and notifications You can set predetermined driver privileges by activating the guest driver profile in your app. • Vehicle maintenance alerts and health reports You can now Check your maintenance alerts and see your vehicle’s health at the push of a button. • Driver Score Driver Score encourages you to improve your driving habits. (1) The services available vary depending on the vehicle and the type of subscription. (2) Remote services: Be aware of the vehicle environment. Operate when it is legal and safe (for example, do not start the engine in an enclosed space or if it is occupied by a child). Consult the owner’s manual for limitations.

If you are concerned about privacy, then Toyota is not the best option. Period. Toyota tracks you. With many open tabs, let’s say one or two dozen, Toyota interface will start breaking down and behaving inconsistently. At some point, the interface might stop responding entirely.

The Toyota so many annoyances, so little time. Slow, bulky, difficult to use/navigate, and works VERY poorly sometimes with my iPod and iPhone.

I don’t think  that Toyota usefull,  it’s time to move on to something easier also the Toyota need to fix some bugs.
